Time-tested solutions can be the result of very fresh thinking. This truth applies to the recent renewal of Vancouver Talmud Torah, the city’s largest Jewish elementary school. One of this project’s most significant challenges was putting classrooms over top of the gym that also included a play field roof over top. Our solution was to install hidden Virendeel trusses with strategically placed rectangular bays allowing access between classrooms. The exacting communication between ourselves, the architects, the fabricator, and the contractor resulted in an elegant but invisible solution that maximized the space available for the school.

Stonehenge - we're not the first to use innovative rectangular solutions.
