Throughout high school, Jason Winterbottom always knew his future would involve computers and drafting. After enrolling in a post-secondary drafting program, and learning the basics with a touch of architectural, students were given a speciality choice – Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical. Jason chose to move forward with Structural because the drafting presentation based off engineer’s design looked most interesting.

Fortunately for us, Jason chose Glotman Simpson, launching a career that has now spanned over 24 years, shaping both his professional growth and our firm’s success.

From his early days as a junior drafter to eventually leading our drafting department, Jason’s dedication has been instrumental in refining our workflow and upholding the technical excellence we are known for. A defining moment in his career came when he was unexpectedly called upon to oversee the drafting team during an emergency having little experience in management. Recognizing his leadership potential, the firm entrusted him with this responsibility, laying the foundation for his new role as our Director of Drafting Services.
