Arranged in various distinct components on a challenging, sharply sloped site, the Hollyburn was designed to fit with West Vancouver’s trendy ‘village’ atmosphere and meet the significant demand for housing in this area.
Founded on precast concrete piles, the Hollyburn Medical Centre entails a unique mix of medical, retail, office, and residential components. The thirteen luxury townhomes are reached by paths through landscaped terraced gardens appointed with natural stone, wood beams, and brick, incorporating rain screen technology and an abundance of natural light. Although the building is technically four storeys, the top floors were set back three meters to respect the attractive view corridors and to offer the impression of a three storey establishment fronting West Vancouver’s main street.
