Concord ICON I & II

Vancouver B.C. ● Residential

Completed in 2006, ICON (“Inside Comfort, Outside Nature”) is part of the Concord Pacific Group’s urban master planned community, Concord Pacific Place. Located along the shores of North False Creek on Beach Crescent’s premium waterfront, Icon I and II are two of the first waterfront luxury concrete high-rise residences in Vancouver inspired by and built with a ‘green’ philosophy.

Designed to innovate, Icon’s architecture, landscape design and interior finishes are informed by a holistic green approach.

The striking ‘bris soleil’ fins protect the sunny south faces of the structures, typifying its fusion of style and environmental responsibility. These innovative horizontal blinds significantly reduce heat gain during the day, saving energy costs. The roof is designed to reduce urban heat island effects, creating a landscaped ‘green roof’, while water-efficient landscaping and the use of predominantly native species reduce irrigation. Interiors use sustainable and renewable materials such as wool carpets, bamboo hardwood floors, and recycled glass tiles.

Amenities include the resident-exclusive Club Oasis, featuring an 80 foot pool, spa room, and full gym.
