The 1828 Ocean Avenue development is designed to bridge street and beach with infill housing. The 5-storey mixed-use development is designed to engage with the street on three sides, with paesos and balconies that open to the perimeter, and retail fronting Ocean Avenue. A central courtyard allows for navigation toward different points – avenue, beach access, hotel, and residential side street.
The wood frame project will include approximately 81,000 SF with 2,000 SF of ground floor commercial space (including approximately 1,000 SF of outdoor dining). This project would have up to 83 residential units.
