Growing up, Marcus was fascinated by Mythbusters. The show’s blend of scientific inquiry, hands-on problem-solving, and intricate design work sparked his curiosity about how things come together. That early interest led him to pursue engineering at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated top of the class.

During his first co-op term, Marcus secured a position at Glotman Simpson, where he discovered his passion for structural engineering. He thrives on solving complex challenges and seeing designs transition from concept to reality. Beyond project work, Marcus contributes to our internal design tools as leader of our Technical Committee on Concrete Structures, and as a member of the Sustainability Committee.
