UCI Research Park is a multi-phase residential development located in Irvine, CA. Designed to bring new energy to the region’s growing research and technology ecosystem, this expansive project features three large-scale residential buildings totaling over 1.7 million SF of built area.
Each building utilizes mid-rise wood-frame construction over a concrete podium, maximizing efficiency and constructability. The program includes:
- Building 1: A 7-story wood-frame structure over podium, totaling 696,974 SF, paired with a 7-story above-grade parking structure providing 384,000 SF for 828 vehicle stalls.
- Building 2: A second 7-story wood-frame structure over podium, totaling 453,164 SF, supported by a 7-story above-grade parking structure offering 260,300 SF for 536 stalls.
- Building 3: An 8-story wood-frame structure over podium, totaling 564,065 SF, with integrated parking across two above-grade levels (297,703 SF) and one below-grade level (118,880 SF), accommodating 742 stalls.
