We are currently seeking an Engineering Designer and Field Engineer to support projects across Kelowna, Kamloops, and surrounding areas. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the field, while also contributing to design coordination and problem-solving alongside a highly collaborative engineering team.

What You Bring

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology Diploma
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (co-op or site experience is an asset)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and structural systems
• Familiarity with concrete, wood-frame, and/or steel construction
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting field reviews and structural observations across a variety of projects, including concrete high-rise, wood-frame, and institutional buildings
• Acting as a key liaison between the design team and construction site
• Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and contractor inquiries, and helping develop practical, constructible solutions
• Preparing site instructions and construction-phase documentation
• Supporting project engineers with coordination and technical reviews
• Assisting in resolving field issues efficiently and effectively
• Design of wood-frame, concrete, steel and Mass Timber structures.
• Gaining exposure to design, analysis, and project delivery as part of a fully integrated team

Compensation

Expected salary range: $70,000 – $85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
