Qualifications, Abilities + Attributes:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing role.
  • A diploma, degree or post-secondary education relating to marketing.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator is required).
  • Expert experience working with Social Media platforms;
  • Experience using WordPress is an asset;
  • Graphic design and photography experience are an asset.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up to date with new and emerging marketing trends and ideas.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a professional services firm or within the engineering, architecture, construction industry is an asset.

  • Assisting in the coordination of firm proposals and pursuits (utilizing Adobe InDesign);
  • Social media content creation (including managing analytics)
  • Website updates (utilizing WordPress);
  • Creating + formatting various marketing documents;
  • PowerPoint presentation assistance;
  • Booking project photography + working with our team to generate project write-ups;
  • Business cards + other branded stationary orders;
  • Branded gear research + development and inventory upkeep;
  • Staff event coordination;
  • Assisting with generating external advertisements;
  • Assisting with the publication of our internal newsletter;
  • Assisting with orientation for new team members;
  • Updating our internal intranet; and,
  • Assisting the marketing team with other marketing-centered activities as needed.

The estimated salary for this role is $58,000-72,000, and will be based on education and experience.
