Heather Place is a new rental housing development that features 230 units of affordable rental housing in Fairview with 52 units having subsidized rents. MVHC undertook the re-development project of Heather Place (original built in 1983) to reflect the goals and objectives set out in Metro Vancouver’s Regional Growth and Affordable Housing Strategy as well as Vancouver’s Housing and Homelessness Strategy to provide more rental accommodation. The project features a multi-purpose indoor amenity space; a gym, kitchen and accessible washrooms on the ground floor; and, an outdoor playground.
